Why LOTO shows up on HVAC and plumbing work
If you service equipment that can start, discharge, or stay hot, energy control is part of the job — not only “the electrician’s job.” Practice the sequence here, then follow the procedure posted at your employer. Confined-space rules can also apply to tanks, vaults, and some crawlspaces; those items live in the full OSHA bank, not this short path.
